A Florida-based business executive, Robert J. Soper is the founder, president, and CEO of Sun Gaming & Hospitality. As a student at the University of Georgia School of Law, Robert J. Soper earned his Juris Doctor degree serving as editor to the Georgia Law Review. Today, Mr. Soper and his wife are the creators of an endowed law school scholarship at the University of Georgia School of Law that helps students with an interest in business and business law.

Robert J. Soper was appointed President and CEO of Mohegan Sun at Pocono—a casino entertainment complex in Plains, Pennsylvania—in February 2005. As leader of the Pocono property, Soper oversaw the successful launch of the first casino to ever open in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Soper also oversaw several successful property expansions during his tenure, which included the unveiling of 2,500 additional gaming positions, six onsite restaurants, two entertainment venues and countless retail and nightlife amenities.
