Robert J. Soper is a seasoned leadership professional who has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of multiple companies. Most recently, Mr. Soper founded Sun Gaming & Hospitality (SG&H) in Florida in 2017, prior to leading the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Robert J. Soper was appointed President and CEO of Mohegan Sun at Pocono—a casino entertainment complex in Plains, Pennsylvania—in February 2005. As leader of the Pocono property, Soper oversaw the successful launch of the first casino to ever open in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Soper also oversaw several successful property expansions during his tenure, which included the unveiling of 2,500 additional gaming positions, six onsite restaurants, two entertainment venues and countless retail and nightlife amenities.
