Robert J. Soper relocated to Uncasville, Connecticut to serve as President and CEO of the Mohegan Sun in 2012—after more than seven years of success as President and CEO of the Mohegan Sun at Pocono. As leader of the Uncasville resort, Soper oversaw the generation of more than $1.3 billion in annual revenue, as well as the management of a resort comprised of 36 restaurants, a 1,200-room tower, 5,500 gaming positions and a 10,000-seat arena.

Robert J. Soper was appointed President and CEO of Mohegan Sun at Pocono—a casino entertainment complex in Plains, Pennsylvania—in February 2005. As leader of the Pocono property, Soper oversaw the successful launch of the first casino to ever open in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Soper also oversaw several successful property expansions during his tenure, which included the unveiling of 2,500 additional gaming positions, six onsite restaurants, two entertainment venues and countless retail and nightlife amenities.
